Library Database????

<font color="orange">hi all.. im just new and have a problem with a database called "library"<br /><br />our instructor asked us to make a query about "library database", but i dont have it on <br /><br />my SQL server.. where can i get it from?? it contains member_no,fine_assessed,author <br /><br />title..etc.. does anyone has it ?? or knows a way to add it??<br /><br />thanks in advance <img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif’ alt=’:)‘ /></font id="orange">
I suppose your instructor is talking about Pubs database. That database and Northwind database, came with SQL installation. Check if you have those databases in your installation.
Those databases are no system databases like master, msdb, so any one could be deleted. Hope that help.

yea i have Pubs & Northwind databases.. and i just wondered if there should be another one called "Library".. cuz in the worksheet ,he is talking about a database "Library"… as u said i checked the "Pubs" but it doesnt have a table called "member_no & fine_assessed" so that cant be the one instructor was talking about.. anyway thanks for ur reply Luis.. i do wonder anyone has ready LIBRARY Database installed on SQL server ??
As far I know there is not Library database. I suppose Pubs because has some fields about library.

Yes there is no such pre-defined database installed on SQL Server, unless your training sessions might have already for the course. As referred by Luis only PUBS and NORTHWIND are pre-installed with SQL server installation. Refer to the course notes and ask your intstructor for more information what he/she is referring. Satya SKJ
