Linked Server Errors

I’m receiving an error, Msg 7391, Level 16, State 1, Line 4, when performing a distributed transaction with SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2003. The linked servers worked before, but just stopped working. I tried restarting the services, rebooting the server, recreating the linked server and I still receive the error. I ran DTCPing on the servers and received a successful result. I also ran RPCPing and it too tested successfully. Any ideas what the problem can be? Thanks. Ken.

Luis, Thanks. Although I have seen that KB before. What concerns me most is DTCPing and RPCPing tested successfully. That tells me communication between the servers works. I used them before at other locations and they provided me with the problem which fixed the linked server issue. Ken.
