Great Thanks AKTHAR
i have setup a log shipping on a test server with 2 instances.
The LogShipping is enabled with no errors. The first backup and restore is created. But nothing happens after that. No other backup are been done and no restore. When i right-click on the database on the primary instance – in properties and Transaction Log shipping the log shipping option is not enable? and advice AKTHAR
ok i got the answer. The log shipping was not working as one of the istances was SQL express AKTHAR
guys,<br /><br />i have setup log shipping yesterday on my production server and my backup server both running SQL 2005 Std. I have started my SQL agent service on both server with a domain account that have necessary permission on shared folders where i copied the backup logs.<br />I could not configured log shipping as i was getting access denied error. <br /><br />I had to use the same account to start the SQL Server Services on both sides. Which had an impact on my production enviromnent.[<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-6.gif’ alt=’:(‘ />]<br />[<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-6.gif’ alt=’:(‘ />]<br /><br /><br />AKTHAR
