logging problem
I have a question.I recently found problem with logging in to sql server. and it does notconnect to sql server. it gives me this error:
the connection open prelogin handshake encryption not
supported on sql server. catalog information can not be
retrived. do you have any idea what may be the problem?

It sounds like on the client side encryption has been turned on? on the pc in the client configration tool (cliconfg.exe), check that enforce encryption is not on? just a guess mind you Cheers

If you want to enable SSL Encryption then thishttp://support.microsoft.com/Defaul…rvicedesks/webcasts/en/wc042302/wct042302.asp MS Link will help you, just in case. On the CLient network utility remove the option ‘Force Encryption’ and try connecting again.
