logship to multiple servers
We are using SQL 2K5 standard with sp2. I have set up logshpping for a user db called db1 on the primary server A to server B. Say one month later, I need to logship the same db1 to the second server called server C. Since logship on db1 is active for a month, I assume I will use the existing setup for the logship to server C. What is the steps for doing that? Do I just back up db1 on server A and restore it to server C, then user the wizard to add the copy and restore jobs on server c? Please advice. wingmanhi,
u need to reconfigure logshipping for all 3 servers,restore the full backup of ur primary on the 2 secondary servers with no recovery and apply tran logs Regards
