Hi guys is that possible to create maintanance job in sqlserver 2005 because i am trying ot create maintnance jon for reindexing but it is not creating. thanks in advance. SRJ2005Yes, it is possible and in sql server 2005 maintenance plans uses SSIS package (BI studio) not like in sql 2000 using .exe. MohammedU.

You have to more clear about ‘…its not creating’, are you getting any error or unable to create the MP itself. Take help of SQL 2005 books online about creating MP in this case, there is much available information out there. Satya SKJ
