Maintenance Plans

We have 4 clusters running 2005, each with the same install. I have been able to create Maintenance plans on all but on server. I get the error message ‘Create failed for job "jobname" It does create both the maintenance plans and the jobs, but there aren’t any steps in the job, so it won’t run.. Any ideas? Thanks Susan
