Metrics reports

Oracle OEM has these fancy metrics reports which we could generate for management review’s. I was wondering, Is there a similar metrics on SQL server 2005, which we could generate? If yes, could somebody please share this? Many thanks,
Cali
I’m not aware of such reports for Oracle, but if you are looking similar then Performance dashboard will be handy in SQL

Thank you Satya, I shall look into this. Thanks,
Out of the sql server 2005 has more than 10-15 reports…without installing even dashboard… Right click the database/Reports/Standard… MohammedU.

MohammedU and Satya, I have SP2 installed for SQL 2005. I was wondering, how could i install the dash-board? With my first post, What i meant to say with Oracle metrics report was: With Oracle OEM (Oracle Enterprise manager) they are pre-template reports which are handy to run and see the events. Few events are CPU usage for a X time, Tablespaces capacity report and capacity planning report. Having said that, I was wondering, with SQL Server 2005 dash-board, will i be able to get these reports? The important data what i ideally like to see is, going back in time. Say i want to pull a report on last week CPU acticity OR run a performance metrics report for the resources on the system etc. is this possible? Appreciated if you could share this. Many thanks,
Cali

In this case you have to schedule a SYSMON (PERFMON) trace to get such historic information, for performance dashboard reviewhttp://www.sql-server-performance.com/bm_performance_dashboard_2005.asp link. Satya SKJ
