Monitoring Password Change on SQL Profiler

Hi SQL Gurus,

On the SQL Profiler – Event Tab – Security Audit Object, I have already choose "Audit Login Change Password Event", run the profiler with this event, create SQL login with password, change the password, but the profiler does not track this password change. Nothing show up on the profiler. I tried several times to change password, commit the changes by cliking OK for password change on the SQL enterprise Manager under security folder – login, but profiler ignore this event, it does not capture the password change.

Did I miss anything in this step? Does any one have ideas?

I will greatly appreciate any comment.

[]

Paulus
I check this and it wroks as it should.
there is nothing much to advice on this as this is an very simple thing.
verify whether you are doing the both of them in one server

quote:

Hi SQL Gurus,

On the SQL Profiler – Event Tab – Security Audit Object, I have already choose "Audit Login Change Password Event", run the profiler with this event, create SQL login with password, change the password, but the profiler does not track this password change. Dineshasanka Thanks for your response, I appreciate it. At least I know other have use it without problem. After looking at my profile template, and thinking about, it come to my mind that I have filter setup. I removed the filter for databaseID > 5, and it works like a charm.
