MSDE Access

Hello, I have installed MSDE in my work station. I have created a userid/password combination. My colleague is trying to connect to my MSDE database using Query Analyzer from another work station which is in the same network as my work station is into. He is getting an error message saying "SQL Server does not exist". Is it possible to access a MSDE database from another computer.

This is the problem: MSDE defaults to install with no network protocols enabled This is the solution: On the host machine start Server Network Utility: Start > Run > svrnetcn.exe
select TCP/IP and press enable
