MSSQL Security issue

Hi, Just wanted to know like Oracle, if MSSQL Server too under security does has any provision for :-
(1) User password expiry or resetting after say 3 months
(2) Last database login recorded for any user Cheers & Thanks

1) No, you need to define it yourself and if you’re using NT authentication you can set/control from Windows anyway.
2) No such information stored in the tables, and again you can define own code to record.
And Transaction log is the record where every aspect of database activity is stored. You need to use third party tools like LOG EXPLORER from Lumigent technologies to read the Tlog clearly. HTH _________
