MSSQL2K SP4 INSTANCES

HI Guys and Dolls
WHY? in enterprise manager and query analyser when trying to connect or register, to a new named instance or a server with two named instances and no default, do I only see the name of the server. I would like to know how to see all instances on my network. Yo
When you try to register for the first time with EM you have to write those names. Example: Serverinstance1, Serverinstance2. I suppose you are using the wizard in EM.

You can try registering the default instance which will be the servername, if you have tried that already then ensure the SQL Server services for that instance are started successfully. OSQL -L is to know about available SQL instances on the network. Satya SKJ
