Multiple Versions of SQL Server

Hi, Does it matter whether to install SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 first? Does it matter whether which one is default instance? Do I still need to install client connectivity tool from SQL Server 2000? I want to know which components are not necessary anymore if SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 are installed on the same machine. I kind of remember that SQL Server 7 must be the default instance if SQL Server 2000 is installed on the same machine. Can I install SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, and SQL Server 2005 Express on the same machine? My understanding before SQL Server 2005 is that SQL Server 7, MSDE 2000, SQL Server 2000 can all be installed on the same machine. Thanks.
It’s working fine overhere. I did not encounter the problem of not being able to register SQL7 or SQL2K in SSMS.
