need a help to build BI solution
hi all.. i’m new in business intelligence in sql server . i just know the concepts but don’t know the practical steps to build a BI project. just know that i must build : 1- data mart(s) and make a relations between it to create the data warehouse.2- the cubes to be ready for the analysis processes
3- the analysis queries using MDX
4- Data mining for another kind of analysis.
5- reporting services to show the output of the analysis. now i must execute a BI solution in the next month because it’s my graduate project. and realy i’m in a big problem and need ur help please. i want any links for a direct tutorials or articles talking about the practical steps to do all of the BI program steps like how to build a data warehouse in sql server and how to choose it’s tables and columns to cover all details in the relational database , a tutorial for MDX and a tutorial for data mining.I tried to search and can’t found what i want so i hope that you can help me to find it.

hi all… many thaks to satya and ranjitjain for replying.. i watched what in the links which satya post in his reply but i found a general speech abou BI concepts. it’s good but not enough to build a project. to build my project i need a practical steps like ( to build a data warehouse open … and do … , …. ) i’m sorry for my annoyance and my english [:I] i’m trying to find a useful books and i found this books : Microsoft Data Warehouse Toolkit With SQL Server 2005 Delivering Business Intelligence with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Professional SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 with MDX Applied Microsoft Analysis Services 2005 And Microsoft Business Intelligence Platform but i can’t find any link to download any book of them . so if anyone know any site to download any book of them. please don’t late to post the links . thanks again.
Search Amazon for Ralph Kimball’s books. "The Data Warehouse toolkit" is classic and there is one version specificaly for mssql server. However I haven’t read it, but it can’t be bad.
