NetSend

Is there a way in SQL Server 6.5 to send a NetSend message if a Scheduled Task fails? I see where I create an Operator and send an email or page. What about broadcasting a message? Thanks ———-

In 6.5 you have only options of mail or pager, no option for NET SEND. _________

You might consider shelling out to the OS and sending a Net Send, but that is not very elegant. —————————–
