Number of disks decrease performance
HiDoes anyone have a good case regarding how much overhead extra discs in raid 1+0 konfiguration ?
if 8 disks give 1040 iops, how many iops can be expected for 16 or 32 disks?
it is possible to get linear scaling on small block random IOPS
for large block and sequential IO, it is necessary to ensure sufficient bandwidth (multiple SCSI/FC channels)

so i can provide them as documentation
i am not aware of any documentation on disk io scaling
it seems to be accepted as common knowledge by people who work on disk performance, so no one bothers to demonstrate this it is very easy to verify for yourself
