ODBC connection error

Hi All,
I have SQL 2000 on Windows 2003 server. Client PCs are Win 98. I try to connect to SQL server via ODBC and I got ODBC connection error and when I try again it works. any idea

Try to set IP server (in ODBC) instead server name and see if error persist.
