Performence counter in 2005
Hi all, I have noticed that buffer cache hit ratio on sql 2005 instance showing 0 values why?siri Swamy Sirigineedi
please check this output:
select * from sysperfinfo Also check with perfmon /wmi and see what values are shown there.. Is it only buffer cache hit ratio are all sql server counters are 0? What about registry and how did you end up with this situation.
Also check if SQL Server is not running in fiber mode and priority of SQL Server is normal.
You can check that from Errorlog and sp_configure (light weight pooling)
You check SYS.dm_os_performance_counters dmv too..
