Problem of connection

Hello, I’ve got to PCs. The first one with SQL Server 2005 Entreprise Edition and the second one with SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. I configured the exposition area in order to allow distant TCP/IP connections. But, when I try to connect a server on the other (register a server), I’ve got this message : "Timeout expired. …".
I use SA SQL identification. Can you help me ? Thanks.
From the server, open up your dos command window and type : telnet <dest_ip_address> 1433
If you don’t get a negative response, at the port can see you. Secondly, go to the destination db and try the logon details . Thirdly,check to see the destination db allows remote connections
