questions for data modelers…..

as a DBA/Data Modeler, where do most of you start in the data modeling process?
(conceptual level?, logical level?) What form of modeling do you do? (E.R. Modeling, O.R.M.)? What documents do you have from the business when you start in the data modeling process? What tools do you use throughout your database modeling process?

I would go with logical level by taking help from ER form of modelling.

I haven’t looked at it in about 6 months or so, but another promising tool is ERstudio from Embarcadero.
