re-org stats

Is there any way to view some more detailed stats from a database maintenance plan, specifically in referance to the re-org portion? Thanks, Ben

In standard maintenance pla, reorganization is about pages.

Refer to this KBAhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;288577 which guides you about troubleshooting maintenance plan failures, once you’ve enabled maint.plan log you can get more information on the re-org, backup etc. for that plan. Satya SKJ

The maintenance plan will create jobs when you schedule them. You can go into the jobs and specify the output to be written to a text file. You can then capture the entire text of the reorg. MeanOldDBA
