Remove Backup set ?

Hi, Can we remove a single backupset from a Backup device?
i have device1 having backupset bs#1, bs#2 ,bs#3 . can i remove bs#3 from my backup device? becos bs#1 and bs#2 are of Pubs and bs#3 is of Northwind. M just learning.

Can u pls tell me the organisation of data files and log files in a backup file. becos its an abstration, we can only see the Physical backup file (.BAK) not both file(dat and log) in each backupset. Rajiv

Run RESTORE FILELISTONLY from <backup device> ….. for the complete information of that backup file.
