Replication – Adding a Distribution DB – Security

If I specify @Security_mode = 1 when running sp_adddistributiondb, does this mean the distribution database will run SQL scripts such as instdist.sql under the security context of the SQL Server service account? Dave
BOL refers : Is the security mode to use when creating the distribution database objects. security_mode is int, with a default of 0. 0 specifies SQL Server Authentication; 1 specifies Windows Authentication. Note that if the Distributor is running on Microsoft® Windows NT® 4.0 or Windows® 2000, Windows Authentication is always used, regardless of the setting used for @security_mode. With [@createmode = 1] will – CREATE DATABASE or use existing database and then apply instdist.sql file to create replication objects in the distribution database. Satya SKJ
