replication between 64-bit and 32-bit

Hello! Is it possible to replicate data between a system with 64-bit architecture and a system 32-bit architecture? The 32-bit environment is running windows server 2003 (32-bit) with sql-server 2000 64-bit. The 64-bit should run on windows server 2003 (64-bit) with sql-server 2000 64-bit.
we are replicating data between 32 and 64 using procedures both ways.
Not full blown replication, though.
How did you solve it? 3rd party?
Brimba,
Do you have any current issues or errors with the process? Satya SKJ

No, we have not tried it yet. We have a 32-bit edition today and want to secure the uptime by adding a cold standby. We want to purchase a new 64-bit machine with the 64-bit editions of OS/SQL. The 64-bit should replicate data to our "old" 32-bit machine. I have not found any information on MS-site about this.
The best bet would be to contact MS PSS in this regard, as 64bit experience is thin as compared to 32bit. Satya SKJ
