Replication failure

Does the replication failure (when subscriber database is restored incorrectly – see link) apply to push transactional replication as well as pull transactional replication? http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;304091&spid=2852&sid=266 Thanks
The RESTORE DATABASE command removes all of the replication objects and replication jobs from the restored database that cause the Distribution Agent job of the original database to be deleted because the Distribution Agent job_id is the same for both the original subscribing database and the restored database.
