Server connections

Dear All,
I want to connect SQL Server databse of a third party to my sql server through eterprise manager. Can anyone tell me how to do that. I have a public IP address of the outside server. My third party server is located in USA and mine in UAE.

You posted this in SQL 2005 forum and asking Enterprise Manger question which is no more in SQL 2005. If you want to connect SQL 2000 server using EM, you should have SQL login. Open EM and Right click top level group and click NEW SQL SERVER REGISTRATION and type your IP address in the server name if it is default instance if it is named instance IPINSTANCE name then click SQL AUTHENTICATION … enter the login name and pwd then click OK…
