Server’s load

I have a test server that our developmet team are using. Another project is coming up and my manager is wondering if the team can use the server for the new application developmet as well. server’s space and RAM are enough and the application wouldn’t be that much big. Should I monitor the server and provide an answer to my manager? Any suggestion? CanadaDBA

I think this is strictly up to you. Of course, by monitoring, you will get a good answer. If you don’t monitor it, you will just be guessing. —————————–

If space, RAM and processor are enough, I don’t see any problem. Of course in differents database.
Monitoring will give you information, may be, about future box upgrade.
