set working set size option

If this option is set to 1, is it possible that a SQL Server 2000 will allocate more than 2GB for its use in a Windows 2003 server which has 4GB RAM?

BOL defines:
Use the set working set size option to reserve physical memory space for Microsoft® SQL Server™ that is equal to the server memory setting. The server memory setting is configured automatically by SQL Server based on workload and available resources. Do not set set working set size if you are allowing SQL Server to use memory dynamically. SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition.
With Standard Edition, you can reach up to 2Gb.
You need Enterprise Edition to reach more. Luis Martin

If you’re managing the memory dynamically then leave as it is and to take advantage of more memory may upgrade as suggested by Luis. Standard edition restriction is 2GB only. Satya SKJ
