Snapshot Never Ends? – Merge….

Hi, I’ve set up merge replication, and generated the snapshot. Its been running for 18+ hours, and looking at the Monitor, it looks like it’s going in a continous circle. The messages change from ‘Preparing Table X for merge replication’ and ‘Applied script x.cgf’ and goes thru all the objects, and applying snapshot. However, the subscriber apparently doesn’t appear to have ANY data in it. I restored a clean copy to both sides, with data, but the sync seemed to delete the data. Data is on publisher, not subsc. There are no errors on the monitor, but in this continuous state. Any ideas? Please help? Where should I look. This is the 2nd time this occurred.
Try to enable logging and run the sql trace also to see what is going on… How to enable replication agents for logging to output files in SQL Servehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/312292
