sp_Who cmd column
What’s the meaning of AWAITING COMMAND, Open/Close Cursor, … in cmd column of sp_Who? CanadaDBAThe process listed with "sleeping awaiting command" then nothing is being blocked and the process is an application with an open connection to the server but is not requesting anything at the moment, or has hung, or finished for that matter. Open/close curose is to Manage transactions on the open connection. Satya SKJ
