SQL 2000 pub/dist w/ 2005 subscriber

Has anyone had any issues w/ having a SQL 2000 publisher & distributor replicate to a SQL 2005 server using continuous merge replication.
I just want to know anything before I get into it. We have a customer that might need to do it. I have recommended putting all at the same version – either 2005 or 2000, but that might not be possible. Thanks in advance. Darin

SQL server 2005 can be publisher or subscriber with SQL 2000. It is good to have both on sql 2005 because 2005 has many improvements than 2000… Merge Replication Performance Improvements in SQL Server 2005
