SQL 2005 Agent Service not started

I am not able to start SQL Server 2005 Agent Service. Current I have SP2 installed.
The error message shows: "SQLAgent$SQL2005 service started and then stopped". Are there any ideas on this kind issues?

What was the last major change you made to your server configuration? The error most probably would have been due to insufficient previlages of the service account. Make sure the service account has admin previlages. By the way, did you make any changes to data files location or try renaming them? Also check for the messages in the log. Satya

Check the sql error log and sql agent log for more details and also check the system log and post the error what you are getting…
