SQL 2005 RS Report Manager – load time
Every morning it takes about 30 seconds to load Report Manager.<br />(But of course next loading is within speed of light [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-5.gif’ alt=’
‘ />]).<br /><br />Any ideas how to decrease load time?<br />

Any other ideas?
Is that happening only on this server or are yu able to reproduce the same on other machines too.
What is the service pack level and any anti-virus or certificate based access on the network? Satya SKJ

Well all my laptop & client machines I experience long load times the first time after boot.
I think they behave the same, but I will make a test over the weekend.
The server is: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 – 9.00.3054.00 (X64)

After a reboot having such lag time is expected, even I too get the same. But if its for every time then may be something to do with IIS authentication on refresh of Report server too. Satya SKJ

I tried to solve it by scheduling a job with a nullprovider but that didn’t work since it didn’t use Report Manager. 🙁
