SQL 6.5 – 2000 conversion

Hi ,
I am trying to covert batch jobs of sql 6.5 to job steps in Sql 2000 …there is a step where I have to run a SQL query(located in a text file) and store the result into a text file…
I thought of creating DTS packages …but there are 50 such batch jobs… I dont think it would be feasible to create 50 packages….is there an alternate way to create this job step…
Please help!!!!

Best option is to upgrade, otherwise you can script them. _________
