SQL 6.5 to 2005 upgrade ??
I have to migrate some databases and some tasks of sql 6.5 to sql 2005. Can I upgrade SQL 6.5 to Sql 2005 directly ? Or Do i have to upgrade to 2000 first and then to 2005? where can i find information on this? I have doubts after reading sticky article of merrialldrich when he could face many issues for just upgrading from 2000 to 2005? ThanksChetana

Refer to the links above and with regard to the sticky post you have mentioned, your application might fall into same issues and may not be provided the queries are optimized and addressed with compatibility issues from 6.5 to 2005 vesion. Satya SKJ
