SQL Maintenance Plan Problem

Hi all,<br /><br />I keep getting "Library not registered" when trying to either create or modify a Maintenance Plan in SQL 2005. This is the case on 2 servers we have both with SP2 installed, (9.0.3033), (SP1 was not installed previously).<br /><br />If I use the Maintenance Plan Wizard, it will create it but from there I cannot modify it at all. This is really weird and frustrating [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-6.gif’ alt=’:(‘ />!]<br /><br />Any ideas?<br /><br />Tnx.
– that’s one of the reasons why sp2 is still in CTP2 !! – forward your issue to MS !

could u pse post the actual error with error number madhu
"Library not registered" <— That’s it! Not very helpful is it :/ Nothing else. There SQL SP1 wasn’t much better.
try the same on the machine that is installed with SQL 2005SP1.
Can you drop and recreate the same using SSIS, I have seen this when there is any mismatch of tools on the machine SQL 2005 tools. I suggest to drop and recreate this MP and try to edit or schedule. As suggested by ALzdba do not use SP2 on production environment as it is still in cTP. Satya SKJ

Yeah, I never realised it was in CTP! No matter as I was having similar problems with SP1.
Can you try the same from another SQL 2005 instance? Satya SKJ
