SQL Server 2000 service pack 3 installation proble

Forum I am having issue when installing SQL Server 2000 latest service pack3, I am getting Access Violation errors and couldn’t find any reference in the technet. Could somebody help me out. Thanks in advance.

I have not heard of this particular issue, but I have heard from others that if you are having problems installing SP3, that you should reinstall SP2, reboot, and then try to install SP3 again, and see if that resolve your problem. If that doesn’t work, I don’t know of any other options at this time. ——————
