SQL server 2005 license

Hi I cannot find SQL server Licensing in control panel – after instaling SQL SERVER 2005 Enterprise eddition.
Not sure were it is located now . For SQL 2000 – it has always been there
Now I don’t see it . can someone help?

I don’t think sql server licencing is available in Administrative tools or in control panel any more…
I believe it is in registry…

True, you will need to have them if someone will do an audit, but you don´t have to enter them somewhere any longer Satya SKJ

Hi I run SELECT SERVERPROPERTY(‘LicenseType’) server1
Output= NULL server2
Output=DISABLED We did bought licensences -I have all the papers not sure what to do now -did I have to install those licenses somehow? On server2 – I used the same CD that I instaled sql for server1 – is that the problem? I am totally lost here . Is that means when server in production it will stop users from working? thx
As suggested need not worry about applying the License keys for SQL, only for the case of audit you need to secure the papers. Satya SKJ
