SQL Server 7.0 :- Maintenance plan hang

Few days back my Maintenance plan was getting hang when it take#%92s backup for one database, so we removed that database from maintenance plan and that maintenance plan had started fine. But I am not able to use that database in any maintenance plan even I tried a separate maintenance plan for the same database. I have tried all dbcc command aginst that database but no error was found. If I restore the backup of same database then it work fine, I have checked on other server.

What error Database Maintenance Plan shows?? and which backup maintenace plan takes when error come? Deepak Kumar –An eye for an eye and everyone shall be blind

True, the error message gives more insight, check maint.plan log for information.
Also try to backup the database using BACKUP statement from QA or schedule as a job and see the results. Satya SKJ
