SQL Server Agent in 2005

Hi Friends,
I have downloaded expresss 2005 from Microsoft website & install that successfully. but now when I tried to start SQL Server Agent services it give me message ‘The specific service does not exist as an installed service’. Do i need to install something else or this service does not exist in 2005. Actually I m very new to 2005. Hope to see your response soon.

Just stupid question [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-4.gif’ alt=’:p‘ />]<br />Can you confirm if you have MSSQL service installed under Services?
I know its stupid question but I m unable to find the solution. I just want to know Is this service still exist in SQL 2005 or it come with different name ‘Browser service’. Because in my SQL 2005 there is one ‘Browser services’ is exist. Any help will be appriciared.

In SQL server service manager must appear SQL Server Agent under 2005, so I guess you have an installation problem. Luis Martin
