Sql Server Agent Shuts down
On our development server the sql server agent keeps shuttin down at random times. And I do not know why.. It shut off friday ngiht, and today I went to schedule a job and had to restart the service. Currently that server is not in use, could that have anything to do with it..? I am in the process of putting code on it, and buildign the databases… Anyone seen this..?? -David RoeschSan Diego, Ca
Does the NT event log, SQL Error log or the SQL Agent error log (right click on SQL Server Agent and choose Display Error Log) show you anything? Is SQLServer itself shutting down and has been set to restart? Cheers
