Hi All, I am looking for procedure/process of sql database server migration from one server to another server(from windows 2000 to windows 2003) it would be great if any one of you help me out. thanks

On the operating system part do follow the Microsoft articles on upgrading Win2K to Win2k3, on SQL part simply backup the database and restore it on Win2k3 box without any issues. KBAhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;224071 helps you. Satya SKJ

DEar Mr. If u wants to run yr SQL Server on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition, their would be no issue its very good os i have tested the same … but u have to apply the lattest SERVICE PACK FOR MS SQL (THAT IS SP3A) to run the sql server on windows 2003 server.
it works very fine without an issue , i am using it since last 6 months. hsGoswami
