SQL Server performing slow,wht to look for?
Hello DBA’s If we have a situation where we have a SQL server performing slow or somebody complaining that a server is running slow, what do we have to look for and what can we do to improve it? ThanksSatya

Performance audit is the best one so far I have seen. Bear in mind there are few differences if you are running SQL 2000 and 2005 version on the same machine, in this case you need to have a full checkover of server to database in order to eliminate any issues even it is a smaller one. Satya SKJ
