SQL Server registration problem

Hi all, I have 2 instances of SQL server 2005, one is with name comp40 and another is Comp35. When I try to register either of the server on other I gives me error. An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 – Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 1326) I have also checked both the servers allow remote connection for Database engin, using SQL server Surface area configuaration. If i register an instance of SQL Server 2000 it works properly. Can any one tell me how i can register the server, and why this error is coming? Pls this is urgent Warm Regards!
