sql setup best practice

Hi everyone I have a new dell poweredge 2950 with 8 GB memory
it has a single raid 5/i card and 6 36GB drives
I plan on installing windows 2003 standard and sql 2005. What is the best raid configuration for this server?
Do I create a mirror for the OS and a raid 5 for the logs and dat?
What size clusters should I use for the data?
Do I use write through on the raid controller?
Do I setup a pae on the server memory? use a /3gb swithc any help would be greatly appreciated… cheers
Barry

HI, I’m also planning to install server thought of buying ML370 G5 quad processor. I got 45GB, 25GB and few 5-10GB Databases. and Number of connection says 267 ( actual users are around 100) but growth % for 45GB is 7% and 25GB is 26% ? and others 5-10%? And i got all the above questions too?
sorry this server can hold 8 x SAS drive and also can add another controller and 8 SAS drive if you need to expand.
