SQL2005 error

Hello All, I have installed SQL Server 2005 on two machines i want to implement MIRROR.
When I am trying to register MIRROR server on PRINCIPAL. I am getting below mentioned error.
"A COnnection was established successfull, but error occured during pre-login handshake.
when connecting sqlserver 2005 this issue may fact due to default setting sqlserver doesn’t allow remote connections" Please let me know about the solution. Regards,

Have you allowed any type of connections to be made over the network on the mirror server?
