SQLBrowser errors

Application Event Log errors from Source of SQLBrowser: The SQL configuration for SQL is inaccessible or invalid. This error keeps generating in the Application Event Log every 2 seconds. This is because if you deleted the SQL Server 2000 Databases after SQL Server 2005 installation and migrated the databases to SQL Server 2005. The SQLBrowser is a service of the SQL Server 2005. SQLBrowser is checking for the deleted SQL Server 2000 databases. It no longer can find them, so it throws the error message above. To resolve this problem, we rebooted the SQL box and the SQLBrowser error just disappeared. This is to let everyone know in case you run into this problem.

Appreciate your feedback to resolve the error and I think somewhere in the Technet it was mentioned to restart SQL Server services in order to start afresh after the upgrade. Satya SKJ
