SSIS multiple instance

Hi,
I am trying to import the SSIS packages from the network into the sql server. So I try to connect to integration services using the connect button in object explorer. I enter the sql server 205 name and the instance name i.e. servernameinstancename The error is produces is:
Failed to retrieve data for this request.
SSIS service does not support multi-instance Thanks
