Tempdb and RAID 0

Hi, a few days ago I read this topic http://www.sql-server-performance.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3052, where someone ask about a raid configuration, and Brad and Luis agree that this configuration is a dreamt one. In the array E, he proposed a RAID0 for the tempdb. Yesterday, I saw the same idea in another place. Well, I understand that RAID0 is the fastest array for writing, but what happen with the availability of the sqlserver if one or the hard disk fails? Thanks Patrick MacKAY
