Sounds like a hardware problem with this device, at a guess. You need to find out what cpqfcalm1 is. Tom Pullen

True and it relates to one of the Kernel host controller device, so get back to the vendor for resolution. Also review event viewr logs for further information on this h/w failure. Satya SKJ

so far : thank you I suspect it’s a Compaq Fibre chanel fails…. I also have an other question connected to this how do i read Windows Event properties: data:bytes dwords Is that possible to understaned those numbers? here is an example:
eventid 15
The device, DeviceScsicpqfcalm, did not respond within the timeout period 0000: 0018150f 00720001 00000000 c004000f
0010: 00000103 c00000a3 000e29fb 00000000
0020: 00000000 00000000 00000001 00000000
0030: 00000000 00000000 00000007 00000005
or
The device, DeviceScsicpqfcalm, did not respond within the timeout period 0000: 00100000 006a0001 00000000 c0040009
0010: 50000101 00000000 00000000 00000000
0020: 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
0030: 00000000 00000007

I think those numbers are just the hex representation of the error string above them. there’s no need to try to decipher them. Tom Pullen
